To Place A Call
Emergency
• Lift Handset and Dial 6+911 or 911
Internal
• Lift Handset, press the Speaker button, line button or the New Call softkey
• Dial 5-digit Extension (10XXX)
External
• Lift Handset, press the Speaker button, line button or the New Call softkey
• Local – Dial 6 + Number
• Long Distance – Dial 6 + 1 + 10-Digit Number
Answer A Second Call
- You will hear a call waiting beep indicating you have another call.
- Press the Answer softkey to put the first call on hold and answer the second call. Note: To switch between calls select the desired call and then press the Resume softkey.
Place A Call On Hold
- During a call, press the Hold softkey.
- To return to the held call, press the Resume softkey.
Supervised Transfer
- With a call in progress, press the Trnsfer softkey. The current caller is placed on hold.
- Dial the number/extension to which you want to transfer the call and announce the call.
a. If yes, Press the Trnsfer softkey.
b. If no, press the EndCall softkey.
Blind Transfer
- With a call in progress, press the Trnsfer softkey. The current caller is placed on hold.
- Dial the number/extension to which you want to transfer the call.
- When you hear ringing, press the Trnsfer softkey again.
Transfer To VM
- With a call in progress, press the Trnsfer softkey. The current caller is placed on hold.
- Dial ‘*’ followed by extension to which you want to transfer the call.
- Then QUICKLY press the Trnsfer softkey again.
Place A Conference Call
- With a call in progress, press the Confrn softkey.
- Dial the number/extension of the third party you wish to add to the call.
- When the third party answers, press the Confrn softkey again to add this party to the conference.
- Repeat steps 1 – 3 to add more callers.
Forward All Calls
- Press the CFwdAII softkey.
- Enter the number to which you want to forward all of your calls. Be sure to enter the number exactly as you would if you were
placing a call to that number from your office phone. - To remove call forwarding, press the CFwdAII
softkey.
Redial The Last Number Dialed
- Lift the handset and press the Redial softkey, or simply press Redial softkey to activate the speakerphone.
View Missed, Received, And Placed Calls
- Press the Directories button.
- Press the Select softkey to select Missed Calls from the menu. The call history for missed calls is displayed on the screen.
- If desired, press the Dial softkey to dial the selected number from this list. It is necessary to use the EditDial softkey to append a “6” to
the front of off-campus numbers.
Check Voicemail
- Press the Messages button.
- Follow the voice prompts to login to your voicemail box.
Check Voicemail From Outside
- Dial your full number (Example: 778-xxx-xxxx)
- Press ‘*’ when you hear the greeting
a. Your ID is your Ext, followed by your pin.
You need to have a local number with us to dial your voicemail outside of our premises.
