  • Is a coworking space worth it?

We like to think so. But the truth is each business has their own circumstances where coworking may be a worthwhile investment or not. If you work remotely or are looking for an alternative workspace you may be questioning how your environment affects your productivity. For some, the flexibility to work in sweat pants or do laundry between calls is great, however it has its drawbacks. It may be mundane, and bouncing ideas off your dog might not work. For others in a small to medium-sized team it may be impractical to rent an entire office and fit it out yourself. Luckily we take flexible working at face value and can accommodate customization depending on your preferences — usually. If you’re ready to consider different options for your workspace, a strong possibility could be in West Quay Offices.

  • How do shared office spaces work?

Think of it like a gym membership. Some people come in once a month while others may come in 7 days a week. No matter what your preference, we have different options to suit your needs. On any given day there will be a seat for you with all the amenities to get the most out of your working day; like super fast wifi, printing, unlimited coffee and front of house services for your guests (to name a few).

  • What is the minimum commitment I need to make to join West Quay Offices?

We believe in flexible working, and that means being flexible ourselves. To support businesses and our vision we do not lock members into any long term leases or contracts. Most memberships are on a month to month basis with a 30 day notice period respectively. Please get in touch to find out more.

  • What are the benefits of collaborative workspaces?

Many. The overhead costs of a fully equipped office are taken care of, superior fit out with premium sit-stand desks and chairs for use, flexibility to scale your business up or down, robust health and safety policy and an established company culture.

  • Is a coworking space just a more exclusive coffee shop?

Unless your local coffee shop offers private meeting rooms, private offices, phone booths and an extensive list of business amenities, the answer is categorically no. Replace noisy patrons, shaky tables, and tiny chairs with comfortable seating selections, printing services, mailboxes, whiteboards, and environments designed to enhance productivity. And not to worry, you won’t experience a caffeine shortage in West Quay Offices. Our workplace offer a complimentary full-service onsite Coffee Bar with everything you’ll need to stay fueled and focused throughout the work day.

  • Is coworking a professional solution for my business?

Absolutely. Coworking is a forward-thinking office space solution that allows businesses to scale safely and smartly. Even major corporations and Fortune 500 companies are offering offsite workspace alternatives to their employees, as they’ve experienced the benefits of allowing their employees to feel refreshed and inspired in creative coworking environments.

The movies portray coworking as a millennial playground, complete with craft beer on tap and daily ping-pong tournaments. One visit to the West Quay Offices paints a vastly different picture. Our coworking spaces are designed to be casual and inviting while maintaining a professional atmosphere that impresses clients, invites teamwork, and drives your next great idea.

  • Is coworking only for professionals interested in collaboration?

  • What is the commitment involved with a co-working membership?

Agreements and payment flexibility vary among co-working providers. Our memberships start at $40/month and offer a low, month-to-month commitment. There is no stress or hassle.

  • Can I use a coworking space if I’m not a member?

West Quay Offices provide Pay As You Go options for guests. We offer day passes for just $35 per person. Your Day Pass allows you full, all-day access to West Quay Offices innovative work environments and business-class Wi-Fi.

  • Why pay for a coworking membership when I can work from home or at a coffee shop for free?

While working from home or in a coffee shop may not come at a financial expense, it can come at the expense of your business. It’s difficult to work productively when faced with daily home factors and noisy coffee shops that interfere with your concentration, focus, and performance. For a deeper look at why hybrid work-home environments are difficult to manage successfully, here are some of the disadvantages of working from home

  • Do you provide computers?

No, you must bring your own computer. We offer desks, shared tables, or a range of private offices able to accommodate 1–5 people. Everyone gets to use the kitchen and shared lounge spaces.
