It is especially important for tasks that require intense concentration or for uninterrupted deep work. Our building is a new cement structure constructed in 2017. We offer floor-to-ceiling insulated walls and many soundproof areas. We also maintain noise levels with our guidelines and by educating our members.

The community is a vital aspect of West Quay Offices, yet we ensure its well-being to prevent it from descending into chaos and disorder. Respect, inclusivity, and professionalism are the key principles that ensure our workspaces function effectively. We always do our best to keep harmony among members and run professional workspaces.

We foster a culture of security awareness. #

We inform our members about security practices. We have guidelines for digital safety, data protection, and emergency response, and our members take an active role in maintaining security. Our staff is well trained, and our community is informed about potential emergencies, whether a data breach, fire hazard, or medical emergency. A well-informed community is a secure one.

Visual and acoustic privacy in private offices #

All of our private offices feature insulated drywall and frosted glass doors and windows to ensure both sound and visual discretion.

Meeting rooms with 100% privacy #

We provide windowless meeting rooms with soundproof and frosted glass doors and walls to ensure maximum privacy. There are no cameras installed inside the meeting rooms. No one outside can see inside of meeting rooms.

Soundproof phone booths #

Our phone booths are a small-footprint, private, soundproofed area in our open office environment for private phone calls and video meetings. Our phone booths are engineered with varying qualities and densities of soundproofing materials that work to block office noise and distractions from entering the enclosed space.

Single private booths for focusing your work without any distractions #

Discreet mail and delivery handling #

Discover prime parking lots with convenience, security, and accessibility. Enjoy affordable rates, real-time availability, and easy reservation options. Our parking lots, reserved 24/7, remain locked and only accessible with your parking fob. We also offer up to 2 hours of guest parking for your visitors, which is in a different area than our reserved parking.

Personal Lockers to secure your items (even when you are not in) #

Private lockers to fit your laptop, charger, phone, corporate files, etc. You can easily leave your stuff behind in our workspace and keep your belongings safe. Cameras continuously record the locker areas, and we also supply the lock for your convenience.

Video surveillance/CCTV #

Our common areas have 24/7 video surveillance for the safety of our members. We keep this footage on our office hardware for your privacy; we don’t transfer it to any out-of-office services or cloud servers. We delete all recordings after a certain period. Please be aware that we maintain a balance between security and privacy. We ensure confidentiality; sensitive areas like private offices, meeting rooms, private booths, dedicated desks, and phone booths remain camera-free. All cameras are visible to human eyes and there are no hidden cameras in our workspaces.

Staffed reception desk and community manager on site #

Staff is ready for you during business hours, 9 AM to 5 PM. Our smart automation and security triggers watch our workspaces 24/7 and call our staff in an emergency.

On-premise storage for confidential digital files and backups #

We offer on-premise, fully encrypted data storage and backup solutions. You can encrypt your storage, and your data will never leave our office or be stored in the cloud. Learn more about our team shared folders and data backup solutions.

On-premise private cloud servers #

Private cloud is the most preferred option for organizations due to the additional security it offers. We host the cloud computing services and infrastructure within West Quay Offices in a private cloud environment. Your server is accessible from your secure VLAN to your personnel. We manage your cloud internally within our offices, keeping it inaccessible to those outside your organization. Enterprise clouds are also commonly known as private clouds. Implementation of network security measures #

Most of the coworking spaces typically offer shared network infrastructure to provide members with high-speed internet connectivity. However, the shared nature of these networks poses security challenges, as they increase the risk of unauthorized access, data interception, and malware infections. To mitigate these risks, West Quay Offices implemented robust network security measures such as firewalls, VLANs on demand or already configured with our private offices, intrusion detection systems, and encryption protocols to protect sensitive data and prevent unauthorized access to network resources. Learn more about the network security we offer. We partnered with cybersecurity experts #

In addition to our existing cybersecurity systems, we also utilize Cyber Secure by Proofpoint, which is recognized as a leader in human-centric security and protects our members from human-targeted threats, data loss risks, and human errors. All devices and connections in our network are checked with a comprehensive library of new threat signatures, updated in real time with 30–50+ additions weekly, offering immediate protection against emerging vulnerabilities. CyberSecure leverages Proofpoint’s threat research team and Microsoft Active Protections Program (MAPP) to deliver real-time updates and early access to vulnerability insights, providing cutting-edge protection for our network. This service strengthens our network’s frontline defence by identifying and mitigating threats before they cause harm to any member devices in the West Quay Offices.

Secure WiFi networks #

We provide separate Wi-Fi channels and networks for members and guests, implement effective password policies for networks and devices, and prepare for WPA3 encryption as an industry standard in the future. Every company or individual has their unique internet access code, and we isolate their devices from each other. While our network is protected by a captive portal for our guests and members, we offer a personal VLAN combined with their access code for members and private offices.

Smart and controlled IoT devices #

West Quay Offices is a technology-optimized workspace designed to increase productivity and provide ease of access for individuals working within the space. The Internet of Things (IoT) is revolutionizing coworking spaces by enabling the integration of various devices and sensors to improve operational efficiency and enhance user experience. IoT devices such as smart lighting systems, occupancy sensors, and environmental monitoring sensors are being deployed to optimize energy usage, manage space utilization, and create more comfortable work environments. Code of conduct #

We have a spelled-out member code of conduct, which clarifies expectations around member behaviour, harassment, respect, and the use of coworking amenities. Our etiquette pages inform each member of these expectations, and our staff undergoes thorough training for this purpose. West Quay Offices is a hate-free zone.

Access control #

Access control is the first step toward physical security. We have implemented innovative systems like RFID keycards that ensure that only authorized people can enter our premises. We also tailor our systems to allow varying levels of access to shared areas, meeting rooms, or private offices. Access control is more than security; it creates a seamless member experience.
