If you own an Apple device or three, it’s a safe bet that you’ve used AirPlay. Apple’s proprietary streaming protocol lets you wirelessly send music and video from an iPhone or iPad to a compatible speaker, receiver, or Apple TV (it works much like Bluetooth, except you can send video too).

Our Meeting Rooms have large 65″ and 55″ 4K UHD TVs where you can broadcast your content from your laptop or mobile phone during your meetings. Here’s how to mirror content from your iPhone, iPad, or Mac to our Meeting Room TVs.

How to AirPlay to Meeting Room TVs from iPhone or iPad

  1. Turn on the meeting room TV using remote control
  2. Make sure your iPhone or iPad is currently connected to the Wi-Fi network “West Quay Offices”.
  3. If you do not know how to connect to Wi-Fi, please read these articles:
  4. Choose and open the content to AirPlay on the meeting room TV. Any photos or videos in your camera roll will work.
  5. Tap the AirPlay button, if there’s one available. It’s a curved rectangle with an arrow pointing up at the bottom. If there’s no AirPlay button, tap the sharing or casting button. In the Photos app, it looks like a square with an arrow pointing up at the top.
6. Select AirPlay from the sharing options. In a third-party, the AirPlay options might be found alongside Bluetooth options.
  7. Select Large Meeting Room TV (or Small Meeting Room TV) from the list. You might see other AirPlay-compatible devices on the list (possibly other members), so be sure to choose the meeting room TV.
  8. Enter the 4-digit AirPlay Passcode displayed on the meeting room TV, if prompted. If you’ve used this device to AirPlay to meeting room TVs before, you might not need to enter a passcode.

You should now be able to AirPlay to meeting room TVs from your iPhone or iPad.
